Unit B3, remodeled with granite counter tops and a well-equipped kitchen. The half bath downstairs provides and living room sofa sleeper adds for convenience. The downstairs lanai has a retractable awning adds some shade for the afternoon sun. This condo overlooks the pool and BBQ to oversee all the fun on property as well as the amazing views out to the island of Molokai and Lanai.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor. Maui on the Fly for baby equipment rentals – this includes baby beach toys and other beach necessities for children.

This resort’s prime location on the beach in Kahana is perfect. With no neighboring resorts, you truly have the ability to relax and unwind. Onsite amenities include free parking, swimming pool, beach and barbecue grills. The resort is within a 10-minute drive of 3 championship golf courses which are open to the public, beaches, nightlife and even free hula shows. For convenience, there is a Napili Market, a grocery store that is about ¼ mile away. Also located at the Napili Plaza are retail shops and a few eateries including Mama’s Ribs &Rotisserie, A’a Roots, Joey’s, and Maui Tacos. Kitchen 5315 and the Gazebo restaurant are located at the Napili Shores resort. Just on the opposite side of Napili Bay enjoy the Seahouse restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a great Happy Hour with both food and drink specials!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-week stay at Kahana Sunset B3. The unit was just as advertised and able to accommodate 5 adults comfortably. All lights, plumbing, and mechanicals were in perfect working order. The kitchen was stocked with enough pots, pans, and servingware so that we could prep our meals. The grounds were very well kept and we used the pool, bbq area, and beach access w/out issue. On our last day, we had a maintenance issue with the front door which the front office accommodated w/out issue. We would not hesitate to stay at Kahana Sunset again!

  Kahana Sunset was a wonderful stay for us. The property was well manicured, and the private beach just steps away from the condo was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the sand, the turtles and snorkeling in the bay, and the grassy knoll where you could sit or lie overlooking it all. The condo was clean, updated, and well stocked. The location was near to shopping and restaurants. We appreciated being near to Kaanapali Beach, Honolua Bay, and only 15-20 minutes from Lahaina. We would definitely stay here again.

  Great beach fronting property, BBQ’s & pool. B3 needs sprucing up. It is functional but dated. New bedspreads and new fans upstairs would make the bedrooms more comfortable. I would not have chosen this location for my families visit I had been informed of a very noisy exterior painting project going on. The constant annoying beep beep of the heavy equipment made nap time impossible. Otherwise, I would recommend this property.

  The overall grounds and pool area were lovely, well maintained with courteous workers.
  The inside main floor was clean. The kitchen needed more cereal bowls and a whisk.
  The upstairs was dark walls that were scraped and stained. The stair carpeting was dirty and old. The washer made horrible noises that one could hear clear downstairs on the lanai.....
  Mattresses were old and uncomfortable.
  The view was spectacular........we enjoyed our stay and would come again.....the upstairs inconveniences were tolerable.

  We have rented at Kahana Sunset many times over the years, always staying in the B building. We have used both 1 and 2 bedroom units. This is the first time I have been in B3 and I have to say it was a big disappointment. The unit felt dirty and things were broken. Sullivan Properties responded immediately to my notice of broken items and were very attentive. I would not reserve this unit again, however I would reserve a different unit as I still like Kahana Sunset overall. I’m not sure if the following questions are referring to unit B3 or the grounds of Kahana Sunset. The overall property was very clean and well attended.

  We stayed at the Kahana Sunset for the first time in January 2021. The property is gorgeous! We definitely plan on returning in the future. However, we won't stay in Unit B3 again. There were several things that made it a less than ideal unit. The patio furniture was in terrible condition. Also, the unit sleeps 6 people, but there are only 3 chairs for the patio table and 1 was unusable. There were no beach chairs provided in the unit. We bought some and left them there, so maybe in the future people will be able to use the ones we left. Again, there were no oven mitts, so we had to buy those as well. The door knob to the master toilet and shower room was broken, but my husband was able to fix it. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but as stated earlier, we won't stay in this particular unit again.
