The Kahana Sunset sits on Keonenui Bay and feels as though it has its own private beach. Conveniently located minutes from world-renowned golf courses at Kapalua and Kaanapali, and steps from shops, markets and restaurants in Napili, this property is also just a few miles away from the excitement of Kaanapali Resort. This unit proudly features:

The unit has replaced the following items in 2022: sofa sleeper, new bed, curtains, sofa and a few other furniture pieces. Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor. Maui on the Fly for baby equipment rentals – this includes baby beach toys and other beach necessities for children. For more details and information check them out on the web!

Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within a mile of Kahana Sunset. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. For convenience, there is a Napili Market, a grocery store that is about ¼ mile away. Also located at the Napili Plaza are retail shops and a few eateries including Mama’s Ribs &Rotisserie, A’a Roots, Joey’s, and Maui Tacos. Kitchen 5315 and the Gazebo restaurant are located at the Napili Shores resort. Just on the opposite side of Napili Bay enjoy the Seahouse restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a great Happy Hour with both food and drink specials!

Kapalua’s beauty can be enjoyed through hikes, restaurants and gorgeous beaches. The hiking trails at Kapalua range from easy to extremely difficult! Enjoy the ease of the Kapalua Coastal Trail, the Village Trails or the very difficult Mahana Ridge Trail.

I dealt with Erin mostly until he retired, And since then Kari has been my go to person for everything KAHANA SUNSET. Kari is five+ stars in my book, and I have passed her name along to over a dozen times to potential guests. Our stay from May 5 to May 22 of 2022 once again was great. If we have had any issues with our accommodations at KAHANA KAHANA SUNSET, Sullivan properties, Kari, Kelly, Steve and the entire staff have taken care of them with efficiency and professionalism.

  Everything was amazing! The property is beautiful and well kept, pictures were absolutely right on the money. We caught whales in the distance and routinely saw sea turtles in the water. Sunsets were amazing! The pool was well maintained and there is an abundance of loungers and beach chairs available. Our condo met all our expectations and included all the basic and even more than anticipated necessities. We unfortunately left items in the condo and they have been exceptional to work with getting them back. The customer service/communication is also highly rated.
  We visited many sites that were amazing (Kapalua Coastal Trail; downtown Lahaina; Honolau Bay; Nakalele Blowhole; Iao State Monument and Ho'okipa lookout). The Plantation House was great for breakfast and we were able to see some of the set up for the Sentry Tournament. We were lucky to get reservations at Mama's Fish House, which was also exceptional, as was Kimo's in Lahaina. Our favorite spot, which we hit up several times was Island Cream Company - YUMMY! We also visited the Honolua United Methodist church, which was welcoming and inclusive. Overall a fabulous trip!

  Overall, I had an amazing experience and will return next year. Two comments: the lanai furniture was filthy and the light was burned out. I called Sullivan Properties to change the light bulb but no one ever came. Accordingly, I could not enjoy dinner on my lanai. Also the bed and linens were old and very uncomfortable. If new linens were provided, it would help. T=

  We had a great vacation staying in B5B. The location was perfect. To wake up every morning and see this view was amazing! Unit is recently remodeled and very clean. One of the a/c units quit working but the repair people were out promply to fix it. I was so impressed with how beautiful the grounds and pool were. Kahana Sunset is a great location away from the big resorts but close enough to visit Kaanapali or Lahaina with just a short drive. All in all it couldn't have been a better dream Maui vacation. I would highly recommend staying here and plan to again.
