The lanai of this condo does not have an ocean view and overlooks the private driveway to building 2. The unit just got AC in May 2022 and is well-maintained. The Sands of Kahana invites you to come and experience firsthand the many activities and beautiful sunsets that await you. Located just a few yards from the water, you'll appreciate the sound of waves crashing along the shoreline and feel the cool ocean breezes.

This resort’s prime location on the beach in Kahana is perfect. The spacious villas are beautifully appointed. Onsite amenities include underground parking, tennis courts, basketball hoop, swimming pool, children's pool, whirlpool, restaurant and bar, beach with beach amenity rental shack, 2 exercise facilities, ohana game room and barbecue grills. Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within walking distance from the Sands of Kahana. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. Captain Jack's Restaurant on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates.   The Sands of Kahana itself is a beautiful resort. We have stayed at the Sands many times over the past decade, as our parents are timeshare owners there. This particular unit, however, is in need of some serious TLC. It is past due for some major updates. The cabinets, particularly in the kitchen, are hanging off their hinges. The carpet is old and sounds like plastic when you walk. The bathroom showers have mold in the grout and have a musty smell that permeate the unit after showering or bathing and does not go away. There is very dim lighting in the bathroom--it felt like showering in a cave. There are cracks in multiple tiles and the bottom of the shower is peeling. The lighting throughout the unit was lacking--there aren't enough lights and the light over the dining table was blue-toned and flickering. The lampshade in the master bedroom is broken and crooked. The unit, especially in the kitchen, didn't feel very clean. With some updates, this unit would be nice. However, I would not recommend it to a friend or relative the way it currently is.

  It was a great rental. The cabinets in the kitchen seemed to be loose and need some maintenance. Kitchen needs a large frying pan The patio could use a lounge chair. Otherwise everything was great. We enjoyed the stay very much.

  Greet location and the one bedroom had 2 bathrooms which was a plus. The kitchen area was clean and came in handy. We were able to pick up groceries to make breakfast and late night snacks. Only downside was it was noisy at night and the couch was very outdated and scratchy. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and abundant hot water.

  This unit was not as described. It stated garden view and the view was that of a parking lot and street! Inside there were broken cabinets in bathroom. The noise from the street was so loud we had to sleep in the living room. I would never rent this unit again and definitely not recommend it to anyone!

  I have stayed at SOK many times over decades of travel, this was my first time in a one bedroom. I found the layout and furnishings much less desirable than a 2 or 3 bedroom. This particular unit was very badly stocked with cookware and tablewear. All of the appliances were old and in poor repair. It came stocked with NOTHING...not even a salt shaker or coffee filter. No a single beach towel or piece of beach equipment. We left an unbrella and chair for the next guest, hope the owner doesn't remove them.
  This is the only time I have stayed at SOK and regretted it. This unit is not a good value.
