Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within walking distance from the Sands of Kahana. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. Captain Jack's Restaurant on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor.   Nice unit, great location for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the views. The only downside or cosmetic things are the flooring could be updated as the wood is starting to buckle. We have stayed at the Sands of Kahana many times and enjoy it there. Would’ve also been nice to know that the restaurant was being remodeled and not available prior to our trip.

  We stayed in unit 215. The view is beyond compare. We sat on patio every morning, every evening and as much as possible in between. Cannot get a view closer!
  
  Overall unit was nice. Lots of space. Somewhat dated (i.e. not enough outlets near beds, some switches didn't work), but nothing that was a big deal. Large kitchen was great -- our party of 4 had plenty of room and kitchen supplies were adequate.
  
  Loved the proximity to beach & covered parking area. Everything was a 1-minute walk! Convenient location to nearby grocery, liquor, restaurants. General area seemed safe--lots of families and the overall vibe was low key (nobody partying while we were there). Grills on property are a nice touch--we did not use them, but saw folks that did.

  Rental was awesome. Great location and beautiful views of ocean right outside our lanai. From the minute you walk into the unit all you see is gorgeous blue ocean. The condo was huge and nicely furnished and had everything we could possibly want. Such a relaxing vacation.   The condo is large and roomy. I loved all the extras that made the stay convenient, from the laundry tabs and dish soap to the beach chairs and beach towels. The condo is clean. Kitchen is huge and well stocked. We used the gas grills in the complex which was wonderful. The complex has a nice bar and grill with good food/drinks and great service. The complex is also close to other restaurants and plenty of beaches. The beach at the condo is ok, we went to other beaches where we could snorkel. Views from the condo patio are wonderful with amazing sunsets. We even got to see the sea turtles swimming around our beach. Really nothing bad to say except wish I would have booked to stay longer.

  We just returned from a family vacation (6 adults) and stayed at the Sands of Kahana 215. The unit was amazing and had an incredible view of the beach. The resort is clean and the entire staff are very friendly. There is a nice restaurant that makes good drinks and has tasty food!

  The unit is beautifully remodeled, with relatively new appliances and a lovely kitchen. Unfortunately, between the lighting being very dim, and the knives being dull and impossible to keep sharpened, it is very difficult to cook a meal. There are lights that don't work in the unit, and the lighting in the bathrooms is so dim it is impossible to apply makeup or shave. On the plus side, the view is amazing, and the condo is very convenient to the beach, pool, and restaurant.

  Poor. We paid top dollar for a second class rental. The condo was laid out weird. The only good thing is it’s location. Major appliances didn’t work, kitchen is laid out so you have to walk from one end to the other to get anything done. Bar was worthless with no ice or water. Floors were constantly dirty attracting sand. Couldn’t see my face in the mirror due to the shadows. I could go on. Property manager was worthless except to take our money.
