Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within walking distance from the Sands of Kahana. Captain Jack's Restaurant on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor.   We had an amazing time at the Sands of Kahana and survived the great tsunami of 2025. Came out for my wife's birthday and had our 2 kids, who loved the beach and the pools on the property. We were very impressed with the condo, which had amazing views. The room pictures really didn't do it justice. Would gladly stay here again in the future. Mahalo!

  We stayed in room 344 and enjoyed the perfect combination of stunning views of the beach and coastline, ease of access, security, privacy, and climate control despite having no AC!!! We delighted in a constant, tepid breeze that kept this spacious unit at the ideal temperature to relax between activities. Every detail of the decor and landscaping leant to a welcoming tropical paradise. What an unforgettable experience!

  What a lovely way to fall asleep, listening to the sound of the crashing waves! Meals on the lanai had the best view ever! We watched whales 🐋 daily! Condo is very spacious. The pool is heated and there’s a hot tub. There are lounge chairs on the beach for guest use. There are plenty of gas barbecues and restaurant on site. They only give you 3 rolls of TP for 2 weeks, so shop accordingly. There is not a cooler or beach chairs to take to enjoy other beaches. This condo was the sparsest I’ve seen re: spices for cooking (Not even any pepper). But the views and size are worth it!

  Wow it was all about the view. My daughter and I needed a get away. This was the most amazing condo we could have stayed. The view was breath taking from the front room and Lani area. If we weren’t in the ocean or pool you could find us in the two large chairs facing the ocean.
  The wood floor is perfect with the over all decor of the condo. The kitchen is well stock with appliances, utensils, dishes, pots and pants and coffee makers.
  Evette from Sullivan properties met us when we arrived at the Condo. She is a delightful person and had the Aloha spirit we all hear of. I know we will be returning to Maui. I now know who to contact and the condo I would rent again.

  Nothing can match seeing the ocean from your bedroom, frontroom and kitchen - spectacular. The sands facility - pool, bbqs, bar beach,etc. very very nice. However, although the kitchen has recently been upgraded-well stocked-and is beautiful, the rest of the unit is acutely in need of repair: thread bare cushions, holes in lenai furniture, exhaust fans that don't work, paint peeling, very well worn carpets, door coming off rollers, and bathroom cabinets deteriorated. It's a shame the unit has been allowed to decline. Last question would i recommend property,,,yes with the caveat the overall condition of the unit is lacking.

  We had to wait to get the room finished by housekeeping; the unit was in need of refurbishing, threadbare couch, blinds in living room were broken; range/stove breaker wasn't on; TV system was very complicated-- football playoffs unavailable--took 3 days to get help for that; refrigerator had mold and they cleaned it with fabioso, and the smell in the fridge was "cleaning" fluid residue; very disapponted. We owned a time share at Sands of Kahana for over 10 yrs and never had anything like this...Sullivan Properties was the caretaker, but owner needs to replace and refurbish at the least; cabinet drawers were broken as well.

  We loved this beachfront condo- the view and access to the ocean was incredible. We found the condo to be very spacious and accommodating and even better than the photos. We would absolutely stay here again! The only thing we didn’t love was housekeeping calling multiple times at 8:15am the day of checkout after we had already confirmed our 11am checkout the day prior.

  This two bedroom two bath home was perfect for our family stay in paradise. We fell asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing over the shore each night and woke up to the same. I slept a like a baby!
  There is no air which wasn’t a problem - we adjusted to that after a day. Plenty of fans and a nice cross breeze make it quite comfortable. The views of Molokai and Lanai were incredible, as were the sunsets each evening. This was the most perfect home away from home, and I will make sure to get this same unit next time we visit. The resort as a whole was great. The restaurant was nice and easy for nights we didn’t want to go off site. The pool is heated and comfortable and perfect for a dip after spending time in the ocean.
  I didn’t use them but my husband and daughter were glad they had water shoes. Also some really good snorkeling from the shore here so bring gear. You can also rent paddleboards and many people enjoyed these as well!
  Don’t hesitate to hook this amazing home.

  Sands of Kahana is a great vacation location. We love
  being right on the beach and the view can't be
  beat! We also love the Beach House for convenience and good food.
  However, the unit 344 needs updating. The kitchen
  cupboards are tired along with the appliances.
  The window coverings were worn and broken. Carpet
  was old and soiled. Dishes and utinsils were a real
  missmash of odds and ends. The couch is tired and
  stained and throw pillows should just be thrown out.
