This resort’s prime location on the beach in Kahana is perfect. The spacious villas are beautifully appointed. Onsite amenities include underground parking, tennis courts, basketball hoop, swimming pool, children's pool, whirlpool, restaurant and bar, beach with beach amenity rental shack, 2 exercise facilities, ohana game room, and barbecue grills. Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within walking distance from the Sands of Kahana. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. Captain Jack's Restaurant on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor.   Had a really wonderful experience in Sands of Kahana unit 373. The view is spectacular, the condo is super clean and the complex itself offered many great amenities including: an onsite restaurant (Captain Jack's), easy beach access, warm swimming pool, pickleball, putt putt, basketball and more! I read in a previous review that the bedding is outdated and I would agree, however, all of the other features more than make up for it. The only other recommendation I would make is to beef up the kitchen offerings. But all in all, we had a lovely stay in the Kahana area and will return!

  The Sands of Kahana is a great vacation spot. The unit had plenty of space for our 6 family members. We appreciated having laundry facilities in the unit along with pool towels.   Everything went smoothly with our time at Sands of Kahana 373, but there were also some exceptional memories. Being on the 7th floor allowed us to see more - including 2 sea turtles swimming along the beach and whales putting on a show in the channel.
  
  The property is placed outside of the madness of Kaanapali, but close enough to visit when desired. This location made for a more relaxing time.
  
  The amenities of home (kitchen and in-unit laundry) helped the stay feel comfortable instead of formal like a hotel.
  
  We have booked several times over the years with Sullivan Properties and have recommended them often.

  The Sands of Kahana is the perfect spot on Maui for a vacation. Unit 373 has the most incredible view from the lanai that it's hard to leave and go anywhere else. The Beach Bar & Grill is so convenient and the food and drink are delicious. Check in and check out were easy, parking was easy. I can't think of anything bad to say about our time at Sands of Kahana. By the first time we visited SoK was in 1985 when we lived on Oahu and I was a travel agent. I've recommended it ever since then for friends and family.

  We had an excellent time at the Sands of Kahanna #373. The condo was very spacious and attractive. We were travelling with 4 grown children and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Liked the large kitchen. The views from the lanai were outstanding! We saw humpback whales and turtles while sipping our coffee.The beach outside the building was lovely and very good for boogie boarding and swimming. The Sands of Kahana is also close to some great snorkeling beaches. My only suggestion would be to maybe add a few more utensils and wine glasses etc to the kitchen; however, that is a very minor point and didn't impact on our enjoyment of the place at all.   Great view, condo was clean and modern. Facilities were nice. Staff at concierge were a bit understaffed due to COVID. Restaurant staff were not really that enthusiastic and we did eat there 4 times in our u day stay. . We were turned away at 7:20 pm on a Thursday night (our last night) for dinner when they had several available tables and were supposed to be open until 8pm. They said they were done for the night. This was after we stood there at the door for 15 minutes waiting for 1 of the restaurant staff to even acknowledge us. Overall we loved Kahana and Wished we could have stayed longer.

  Stayed for a week and decided on this rental because of the views and location. Checkin was easy, property management always helpful, and they keep everything clean. Plenty of parking. The condo itself is very spacious and well maintained. Looks like the kitchen is remodeled and has plenty of space for storage and cooking. Bathrooms cabinets could be replaced so drawers can be used. Bedrooms have plenty of space as well. It was easy to get down to the beach and it wasn’t overcrowded either. Overall it was a great stay. We will miss the beautiful sunsets and ocean view.
