Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within walking distance from the Sands of Kahana. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. Captain Jack's Restaurant on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor.   Had a great trip , with the exception of having to be moved ( due to water damage) so had to move upstairs . Place is nice location and quiet. Elevator kept breaking down (we were on the 7th floor). Have family that cannot use stairs. I would definitely use Sullivan properties again but would not stay in this condo due to no air conditioning. Hard to sleep at night. Sullivan management was nice giving us tons of fans.

  Our family had a great stay here! The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We really appreciated having fresh smelling clean linens, plenty of soap, tissues, TP, trash bags, beach towels, and a few pods for doing laundry. The views were absolutely amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony watching sea turtles. Lucky enough to see one taking a nap on the beach. The on site grill/bar was great for breakfast and Happy hour was really nice. The pool was warm and hot tub was perfect. The grounds are so pretty with lots of flowers. Thanks for the coffee machine that works with keurig kcups!!! We enjoyed Monkeypods for lunch at Whalers Village, horseback riding at Ironwood Ranch, dinner at the Plantation House, Merriman's, and Nick's were amazing! Took a whale watch tour on a luxury boat with Hawaii Nautical. Bummer no whales, but the water was beautiful. Ziplines were fun in Kapalua. Just driving the coastline is amazing. It was a bit warm in the evening with no a.c. but the view made it worth it. We left the front door open a bit for a great cross breeze. The only negative was the day we had to leave the elevator broke down and we had to huff up 7 flights of stairs and back down with lots of luggage.

  A great place for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids (age 9). Plenty of room in the condo. The view was spectacular!! Beach was safe and we watched a couple of turtles swimming around us. Paddle boards and snorkeling equipment available to rent. The pool was right there as well. Only downside was,( while staff was great), the food and drinks at the bar was mediocre. We had a great vacation and hope to return.

  A rescheduled trip from 2 years earlier. Same unit with a slightly better price this time. Would have been good to know that the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds but the 2nd bedroom has 2 full size beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Kitchen sink needs repair, had to use a soap bottle to keep it shut off. have stayed at SoK previously and has always thought each unit should have been stocked with glass cleaner because of all the glass top tables. Pest control and window service was done and we were asked to be gone during these times. has to clean the unit ourselves because we couldn't give housekeepers 24 hours notice cleaning needed to be done which charged an additional fee. Loved our stay and the unit, just has a couple of glitches.

  This is a wonderful location for a family trip and a good home base for your west Maui activities. Nice, clean and spacious for big groups. The ocean and mountain views from the unit are breathtaking. The beach is great for swimming, sunbathing and even a little snorkeling Having a restaurant and equipment rentals (kayaks, standup paddle boards)on site is very convenient. The furnishings are dated but the location, views and beach make up for it. Check in and out at the 24 hr desk was very easy. We would stay here again.

  The top dishwasher tray was broken, the refrigerator closure device was broken and had to be manually set to prevent the cold from escaping, the handle for the freezer detached at one fitting, Numerous marks observed on the walls and by the doors - needs to be painted, the throw rug in the living room was very filthy and the vacuum cleaner would not help. We have stayed in the Unit next door in prior visits and that one is much better!

  This is a very nice property with an outstanding view. The pictures and description of the property were spot-on. The only hiccup we had was not being able to initially locate the third bedroom when we first arrived (the door to the room was behind the open front door), but we laugh about that now.
  
  The sound of the ocean outside our windows was everything we hoped it would be, and made for great sleeping at night. The main deck was large enough to accommodate our group of five comfortably, and we spent time on it every day we were there.
  
  The beach in front of the facility is very nice, but a little rocky in places. We still swam from this beach most every day...very convenient. It's smaller compared to some other beaches, but that was okay with us. It never felt crowded.
  
  Parking was sufficient (spaces are a bit tight), and we never had an issue with finding a space in our building's underground lot. We were in and out of this lot at all hours of the day/evening and were always able to get a space.
  
  There is plenty of room in this unit to spread out. We had five adults in our group, and never felt crowded. The kitchen is well-equipped for making meals, and the fridge/freezer is large enough to hold plenty of food, drinks, and ice for a 10-day stay. We did have to buy more paper towels, but all other supplies (including toilet paper) were sufficient for the length of our stay.
  
  The washer/dryer were very nice to have for cleaning/drying our towels. There was no maid service, so we did our own sweeping and general clean-up, but I think this is typical for a condo rental(?).
  
  FYI, we did encounter a few roaches in our unit, which was pretty gross. We did leave snacks on the counters, which the unit instructions discouraged. Still...
  
  Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view, the space, and the deck were exactly what we were looking for.
